What Is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle, Japanese energy-based wellness practice that encourages deep relaxation, inner calm, and a greater sense of balance. Rooted in the belief that life-force energy flows through all living things, Reiki offers an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and find stillness amid the demands of everyday life.
During a session, I use light touch or holds my hands just above the body, allowing you to rest comfortably while fully clothed. There is nothing you need to do, achieve, or believe in to receive Reiki. Simply come as you are and allow yourself the space to unwind.
People seek Reiki for many reasons both physical and emotional. Some of these include pain, stress relief, emotional grounding, personal reflection, and a desire to feel more connected to themselves. Every experience is unique. Some people describe feeling warmth, peacefulness, or a meditative sense of calm, while others simply enjoy the opportunity for uninterrupted rest.
Reiki can be experienced in person or through a distance session, making it accessible wherever you are. While Reiki is not a substitute for medical care, it can be a meaningful addition to your personal wellness and self-care practices.

What Does a Reiki Session Feel Like?
Every experience is different. Some people report feeling deeply relaxed; some notice warmth, tingling, or other subtle sensations; some experience emotions; and some simply experience stillness and quiet. Others may not experience noticeable physical sensations—there is no correct way to experience Reiki.
You Don't Have to Believe in Reiki to Experience It
Welcoming skeptical or first-time clients, Reiki does not require you to adopt a particular spiritual belief system. You can simply arrive with an open mind and allow yourself time to slow down and experience the session.
